Although it is a fixed appliance, its customised design makes the discomfort caused by getting used to invisible braces minimal and very short-lived.
Ceramic braces are increasingly preferred as they are less visible than metal braces. Ceramic braces are comfortable and very effective in aligning teeth.
Metal braces are the most common type of braces. It is suitable for those who are not allergic to metal and is valued for its robustness and lower price than other types of fixed braces.
Sapphire braces are transparent and durable. It is not as visible as other types of fixed braces, especially if you have white teeth, but it does have one drawback: the rather high price.
